The tiger
1000 is a new generation
computer printer which embosses tactile text and graphics onto standard
Braille paper and plastic media. In addition to printing standard Braille
(with a large selection of Braille tables), it can print any arbitrary
combination of text and graphics from standard computer applications.

20 Braille character cells per second, or up to 3 minutes per page depending on
the complexity of the graphics

single sided; standard Braille, tactile graphical representations, DotsPlus
Braille and combination of the above with a single printing pass

continuous tractor feed Braille paper or plastic foil

parallel Centronics

128 kB buffer

numerical keypad with LCD display for manual access of printer functions
- Braille tables:
up to 10 Braille tables stored in EPROM - user-selectable choice of American
Computer Braille code, DIN (German) Braille code, GS or a user definable
representation

Windows95/NT printer driver - prints text (Braille) and graphics
directly from standard Windows95/NT applications (MS Word, Powerpoint, Mathematica,
CorelDraw and others
