GS Greek characters

The lower case Greek characters are listed below with the GS8 dot pattern in square brackets followed by the GS6 dot pattern in square brackets. The GS6 Greek characters are the conventionally-accepted Greek root symbol preceded by a dot-46 prefix. The Greek characters and all other GS6 double cells beginning with dot-46, are represented in GS8 by the root cell with an additional dot-8.

The capital Greek letters whose shape differs sufficiently from Roman letters to make them useful in scientific notation are represented in GS6 by a dot-456 followed by the conventional root and in GS8, in common with all double cell GS6 symbols beginning with dot-456, by the root cell with additional dot-78. The capital Greek letters are listed after the lower case Greek letters.
