The Accessible Graphing Calculator Help Files
Help about the TRIANGLE Calculator is given in three sections:
The purpose and content of each Tab Page is as follows:
- Keypad Calculator; simply called
the Calculator: This page simulates a standard scientific hand-held
calculator.
- Speech: This page
contains options for controlling the SAPI speech characteristics and other
program sounds.
- Expression Evaluator: This is an
advanced ASCII expression evaluator.
- Data Set 1 and Data Set 2: Two
pages that each contain an expression box and data table.
- Plot: This page contains options for
controlling the plot region and the visual appearance of the data plot,
and determines the number of points to be calculated in the Data set
tables.
- Wave: This page contains options
controlling the format and sound characteristics of AudioPlots.

The following list describes the Menus and their contextual
items.
- File: Contains options for opening,
importing, saving and exporting files.
- Options: Provides links to each of the
Tab Pages as well as the Self-Voicing toggle.
- Graph: Lists several options for
displaying and playing graphed data.
- Help: Provides links to the Help file,
repeating spoken phrases, and contact information.
The menus are accessed at any time by pressing ALT and the first letter of
the menu name: ALT F for File, ALT O for Options, ALT G for Graph, and ALT
H for Help. The focus is on the first item listed in the menu. The UP and
DOWN ARROW keys will cycle thro ugh the items in the menu. The LEFT and
RIGHT ARROW keys will move between menus or into an item's submenu.
If the "Allow Sound Effects" option check box is checked, a bell
sound is heard when focus moves to a menu item that has a submenu.
